Last 2014 class in Chirivelland!

 In our 2014 lesson we decided to do something ´special`  before our Xmas holidays .

  So the first thing we did was to play a  game which we had already planned two weeks  before.
 This  game is similar to the ´Spanish invisible friend game`.
  So  students  started the  lesson exchanging  cards and some chocolate. It was good fun and a              lovely warm up activity which made them be relaxed and get to know  their mates a bit more.              At the end of this activicty , we all ate chocolate and even played jokes in English!

In the pic below you can see  some of the Xmas cards from the 2 B1 group.



Then,  once the atmosphere was relaxed , we started a speed dating activity which we had  also planned a couple of weeks before. Ss had already worked on their questions and at the end of the lessons they handed  them in to have them  checked and marked.

It was indeed a really nice time which made me realise how much Englsih Ss can speak when they feel comfortable and at ease! Just making conversation and speaking as fluently as ever!




I also  added  a couple of photos of our speed dating activicties in both groups. It was great!!!

   STEPS TO AN OV ORAL PRESENTATION
                                                                                                                        




    Master Chef Glogging Project   


         Aims                                                                              To learn vocabulary related to meals and cooking.

                       To develop oral and written textual strategies.

                       To encourage cooperative learning.

                       To self evaluate 



      Steps

   1. Form a 4 people group and decide the roles each of you will have according to your teacher guidelines.
   
   2. Do not forget to keep record of the names, resposabilities of each of you as well as the  project             process in a diary.

   3. Find a recipe you all like.  

   4. Plan the process: settings, days and time, and  items you will need to create your glog.

   5. Create you glog in one  account. 
           Remenber to include:  
        a. The ingredients and tools you used.
        b. Making /Method:  Four steps to make your dish including the  final touch. (Each step needs a video with or without  subtitles)
        c. Your personal opinion (In a video recording) about this project  including  pros and cons.


    6.  Write  an entry in your blog.                                                      
           a. Write a short introduction about this project,
           b. Embed your glog in your blogs.

   7.  Present your blog entry to your class.
