Introduction
Your English teacher asked you to prepare an
oral presentation on an original version film. After this project ,
you´ll have learnt how....
to prepare an oral presentation.
to speak in front of an audience,
to collaborate with your team,
to improve your level of English
to use the English language as a tool
and you´ll have visited a cinema
where films are projected in their original version.
The Task
You study English and you have to plan an oral presentation on
a film,
Work in groups of four:
1. A cinema expert who loves watching different kind of films and who
usually goes to the cinema at week-ends.
2. A computer expert who loves computers.
3. A new student who just came from an English speaking country.
4. A coordinator who plans every step and who makes sure everything is
fine and keeps your teacher informed.
You and your three mates have to find a cinema
where you can see films you three like, get your tickets on the internet, get
together, go to the cinema, and prepare and present your class your oral
presentation.
In your oral
presentation you have to include the following information about the
film you saw :
STEP 1: Introduction of the group
members and their roles in the project.
STEP2 : Present the film
1. Technical Details.
2. Synopsis. (What happens in the film)
Description of the
main characters and how they feel and react
in the film. Plot. context .etc,etc
in the film. Plot. context .etc,etc
3, Your
opinion. Why you like or you don´t like this film.
Anything especial about this film?
Describe how you developped this project. (Show photos)
Explain the pros and cons you had to face in order to do this project.

opinion about this project and what you think you have learnt.
STEP 5: Your own evaluation.
Process
1. Form a group of four and assign each a role:
the computer expert, the English speaking person, the coordinator
and the cinema fan.
2. Once you've picked a role to play, find a cinema where films can be seen in their original version.
3.Choose a film and find the cinema
hours.
4.Get together and go to the
cinema.
6.Make your presentation. Be clear and use the right number of sound and image effects. (Remember
that too many of them may not keep attention on content but on effects!)
